I needed to hear and read this today! I REALLY needed it! I really feel like i am going through it right now!!! Hearing this reminds me of what i need to do.

Why I gave up on "Act Like a Lady Think Like a man" for the time being

It seems like it’s a good read but I just don’t have any motivation to pick it back up and continue reading it. What he’s saying in the book that I have read thus far I already knew. Hell my friend has been telling me I think like a man for years, LOL! I guess if I get some downtime and the kids will let me ill pick it back up and give it another try. Hell I did pay for it after all.

Ever sit back and wonder damn if that didn’t happen I would have, I could have, I should have .....

I just sat here and thought about something’s that I was going to do and I didn’t end up doing them. I must say I am so GLAD that I decided not to do what I was going to do. There’s nothing like avoiding being somebody’s fool, nothing like it at all.

People tend to show their true colors when you least expect it. Half the time they don’t even realize that they are showing you those colors, but that’s neither here nor there. Just be lucky that they screwed up and let the real them show. Take it as a win in your corner and a loss in theirs.

Not everyone is what they seem. People tell you what they think you want to hear so they can get from you what they want. It’s up to you to pick up on the signs that they show. It’s up to you to trust your inner voice (what most say is the Holy Spirit). Shut up and listen it won’t steer you wrong. If your gut tells you to walk the hell away WALK THE HELL AWAY! Be wise and take note to all the signs that are given to you. Trust me you won’t regret it.

Close the damn door!!!

Am I the only one that finds herself telling her children to CLOSE THE DOOR over and over again! It's as if they seem to think that the door to my house is like the door on the van, push a button and BAM it closes itself! UH that would be a big fat NO! Now my battling duo will find something to argue about when it comes to the door. Well Sunshine came in last, no I didn’t you did nanaboo! WTF I don’t care who came in last just CLOSE MY DOOR!!!

Then you have the times when they just came in I say CLOSE THE DOOR, they close it then a few minutes later they go back outside and what do they forget to do yet again? CLOSE MY DAMN DOOR!!! It’s like come on did I not just tell you what 10-15 minutes ago to make sure you close my door. How do you forget that fast, or do you just not care?

It’s not only the front door they leave the refrigerator door open as well. Its one of two things they take something out and leave the door open or they stand with both the fridge and freezer door open for a good 5-10 minutes as if something that they really want is going to materialize out of thin air. Poof their wish has been granted, I got a wish to grant for them alright a swift knock upside the head! LOL

Then they look at me like I'm the one that's crazy because I say close my refrigerator, close my front door. Looking at me like what the heck is wrong with her! I swear these kids will make you think you’re crazy if you let them! LOL

It's written all over your face!

I was just sitting here thinking about the phrase "It's written all over your face" and you know what it is so true. Time and time again i try and pretend that NOTHING is wrong, but i be damned if my face does not tell it all. I have the hardest time hiding my true feelings, either in my eyes or on my face you can tell when I'm pissed, worried, sad, happy or just down right BITCHY!

Is there really a way to hide your emotions, or do they always seep out in some way shape or form?

I know most of the time i keep a mean mug across my face, half the time i don't even realize I'm doing it. People tend to think I'm mean by just looking at me but I'm not. I mean I'm not a huge people person or anything like that but to know me and REALLY know me is to LOVE me! It's been said that i can be intimidating but that's not true. I'm more of the laid back watch and see kinda girl, it just so happens that when I'm laid back in the cut watching and waiting i have a mean mug on my face LMAO!
